Feng Shui Auditor Michael Schnippering opens new Feng Shui at Work office in Dallas

The art and science of Feng Shui, which had its basis in China more than 3,000 years ago, is now having its impact on the Metroplex as the 20th century winds down.

Feng Shui (fung shway) - which translates literally as "Wind" and "Water" impacts every environment that an individual comes across in his daily life, from homes, to office buildings to shopping malls, asserts Michael Schnippering, whose new Feng Shui At Work office is at 3317 Mc. Kinney.

Schnippering, who has trained with Masters of Feng Shui, is a member of the American Society of Feng Shui and is certified as a Feng Shui Auditor. In his "Audits", Schnippering is able to calculate the "Energies" of a home or commercial building, and recommend remedies for problems that might exist before or after a building, home or other space is occupied.

"We've all seen a retail store or space that seems to turn over 'every six months or so,' says Schnippering. "Maybe it's something as simple as having a door in a proper place to attract customers. Or, improper lighting may greatly affect the energy of a space. Perhaps the location itself is the problem. "Consulting with a Feng Shui Auditor could possibly save a lot of time, money and frustration. Finally a person could learn the reason why a building can sometimes seem "jinxed".

Recently, Schnippering audited and consulted in the final preparations for Mr. Arnold Nitishin, Partner-Developer of The M Crowd's new restaurant CITIZEN, which opened October 1st in Turtle Creek Village.

Two questions Schnippering says he is most frequently asked are: "Will the 'cures' interfere with my personal taste?" and "is Feng Shui associated with any religion?" To the first query, Schnippering answers: "Your home is your home. Feng Shui does not interfere with your personal taste nor does it require any elaborate or eccentric items." "As for the question of religion, "Schnippering says, "It is important to understand that Feng Shui is the understanding of the law of nature. Living in accordance to the law of nature and nourishing ourselves with healthy surroundings strengthens our minds and bodies."

Audits are performed for any type of building, Schnippering adds, and can be scheduled conveniently. In general, fees are based on the area surveyed.
