IKEA Week: Avoid Clutter in your Home!

IKEA offers a big variety of storage items. Thinking about cleaning out the clutter in your home? This is time well spent especially in regard to Feng Shui. Cleaning clutter from a Feng Shui point of view can be an amazing experience especially when gaining an understanding of what clutter can do to your life. Having too much clutter will create stagnant energies – and an uncomfortable environment. Many people avoid de-cluttering their homes because they look at it as a time consuming effort. But once you have cleaned up the clutter, and avoid the accumulation of clutter in the future you will feel more energized.

The most important area to clear clutter is the bedroom. As we spend more than one third of our lives in the bedroom you should de-clutter anything in the bedroom which does not belong there including work related items such as laptops, etc.. If your space does not allow you to work in a different room organize yourself. IKEA offers a great variety of cabinets in which you can set up your home office – yet when it comes to resting time simply close the cabinet doors. Also clear the clutter under your bed.

The entrance doors (people with attached garages have two entrances) should also be cleared of clutter – because the you are very much effected by the energies since you entering and leaving your house most likely many times a day – avoid negative chi energy in this area as well. De-cluttering a home is one little step into the right direction to achieve better energies for you and your family. Visit your local IKEA store and look around at the storage items available to help you achieve a more energetic home.
