Guidelines

  • Word Count: Depending on the topic, you article may or may not fall within the 500-1500 word limit. Try to remain within the limit unless doing so would compromise the excellence of your submission.
  •  Content: As with any form of published writing, your submission needs to be well written and completely unique. Review posts prior to submission to check for grammar mistakes, misspellings, and punctuation issues. Also, remove any HTML codes for a cleaner post.
  • Photos: You will need to include 3 or 4 photos with your submission. These are used to add visual interest to your submission and help engage readers with your topic. If you do not use your own photos, you can easily find photos online that are Creative Commons licensed. Be sure to give credit to the rightful photographers if you do.
  • Links: You receive full credit as sole author of your submissions. All we ask is that you refrain from publishing your work on any other site for a minimum of six months after it is published with us.
  • Bio: Put a face to your name and post. Our reader base connects better when you include a photo and short bio about yourself.
