How to cure depression? Think about Feng Shui!

Many people are suffering from depression, and as this is a serious concern this country is full of individuals combat their depression by using a variety of drugs.  Some people claim that the medication is helping while others state that they only worsened the issues.

There are many treatments and “cures” for depression, yet “cleaning house” is rarely mentioned to be one of the cures.  Keeping a house clean has many hidden benefits for anyone suffering from depression.

The ancient art and science of Feng Shui considers a “Clean House to be a Lucky House”.  Clearing and organizing your home is clearing away bad energy. We need to consider that accumulated dust and dirt contributes to colds, allergies and other serious illnesses.  Cluttered living spaces are the breeding grounds for germs, and as germs will multiply they can cause many physical conditions.  All kinds of health related issues mask themselves as depression.

By “cleaning house” you reduce the germs and bacteria while at the same time improving the air quality for healthier breathing.  By feeling physically better you are improving your psychological condition.  You will also discover that by simply cleaning your home it will also become much easier to get better organized.

By giving away those things you do not need, and by organizing the things you do need you will create an effect that positively impacts throughout your week.  Getting ready for work during the week will become less time-consuming simply because you cleaned and organized your closet – you will quickly find that it will boost your spirits.  Having an organized and spotless kitchen will help you to spend less time making space to prepare your healthy meal.

All this will help you to find time for the enjoyable things life has to offer.  As you see the areas of your home clearing out – you will begin to feel a bit more peaceful.
